Aitza Galarza-Hernández, PhD is a Staff Psychologist in the Wilmington TEACCH Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UNC Department of Psychiatry. She is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with children and adolescents focusing her clinical work on completing diagnostic evaluations and providing support to children and their families. As a member of the Wilmington TEACCH Center staff, Dr. Galarza-Hernández conducts diagnostic interviews and autism evaluations. In addition, she collaborates with other professionals within the TEACCH program to provide support and training to Latine families.
